Support Roy's Path to Recovery

Hi everyone!

As many of you may know, Roy & Lisa have had quite the medical journey over the last few years. They have struggled though many, many tough diagnosis’s & had rough life changes due to disabling conditions.

On Monday Feb 3rd, Roy went in for a simple procedure (an angiogram) to try to see if they could discover the cause of his constant seizures despite all the preventative measures they have taken. Sometime between then & Tuesday Feb 4th, he suffered a massive stroke that “shouldn’t have been possible” and has left him unable to walk, unable to lift, he’s very confused & unsure of what’s going on, & several other significant problems.

He & Lisa are on financial assistance from the hospital for the duration of his stay, but he needs many therapies (OT, PT, Speech) to have any chance at a normal-ish recovery. Financial assistance does not cover these therapies outside of the hospital.

They are surviving on Lisa’s disability checks every month but that’s not enough to cover basic living expenses and all the recovery therapies/items needed for Roy.

If you know Roy, he loves big, he loves his family, and he would give his whole life to help someone truly in need. He is the greatest husband, father, & father-in-law & should win awards for being worlds best PopPop.

Any and all donations will go directly to Roy & Lisa to help with the cost of in home therapies so that Roy can begin the path to recovery!
