I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my nephew Roy, someone I've treated like a little brother all his life. Roy is a very gentle soul who never hurt anyone.

He is a loving husband and brother, a hard worker who just wants to live, laugh, and love with his wife and family.

Roy woke up one morning, two days after his 59th birthday to a knock on the door and multiple police officers standing there. Surprise! We have a warrant for your arrest!

They only allowed him to put on his clothes—no wallet, no phone, not even his glasses! This is a man who has never even had a parking ticket.

Unbelievably, Roy has now been accused of a serious crime he did not commit. He is facing devastating legal, emotional, and financial consequences.

Every attorney we've called (and we've called dozens) wants at least $15,000 to start the case, and the whole thing would cost upwards of $60,000.

Does anyone have that kind of money just sitting there waiting for the time you'll need an attorney? The judge denied a court-appointed attorney because he and his wife work!

Please note, they both have blue-collar jobs and make just enough to live on. No vacations, no fancy meals, no shiny toys, no new car.
