This summer, our family received heartbreaking news—13-year-old Royce, a seventh grader at Toledo Technology Academy, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He is now undergoing six months of chemotherapy, a difficult journey for anyone, let alone a young teenager.

Despite his diagnosis, Royce continues to be the kind, dependable, and generous young man we all know and love. Since his father’s unfortunate passing in 2020, Royce has stepped up as “the man of the house,” helping his grandmother, who is recovering from a knee replacement, and even his great-grandfather down the street. He cuts their grass, takes out the trash, and never hesitates to lend a hand. He is also a loving big brother, always looking out for his siblings and cousins.

Outside of his responsibilities, Royce is still very much a fun-loving 13-year-old. He loves playing video games—especially Roblox—watching and playing sports (with baseball being his favorite), fishing, and spending time with his new husky puppy, Maggie, who brings him so much joy and comfort.

Funds raised through this GoFundMe will go directly toward supporting Royce during his treatment. This includes:

• Comfort items to help him get through long hospital visits and recovery days. His one requests is lots of Robux.

• Household help, like lawn service or other tasks, to ease the burden while Royce heals.

• Future medical needs, including dental care, since chemotherapy can cause lasting side effects on teeth.

Our goal is to make sure Royce can focus on healing, enjoying his childhood, and feeling surrounded by love and support. Every donation—big or small—means the world to our family and helps give Royce the strength to keep fighting.
