Support Royce journey to recovery

My name is Dayi Flores and I’m blessed to be the mother of a warrior, Royce Cardenas.

In June Royce, our 22-month-old boy suffered from a near death experience and is currently fighting for his life. This accident caused Royce brain damage, putting him in a coma for several weeks. The doctors assumed that he would not survive more than 48 hours and that we had to let him go. But as a family we decided against that and we are praying for a miracle. During this time many medical emergencies have occurred, a total nightmare for Royce and the family.

A trachiostomy was performed to remove the breathing tubes from his mouth, and he also underwent an abdominal procedure to place a G tube that will assist in keeping him nourished.

Royce is a very strong boy who has continued to fight tirelessly for his life!!! In the past few days we have seen a change which includes opening his eyes, he blinks slightly, and move his tongue some, but now the muscle contractions and spasms invade his entire body.

His recovery will be a long process, we are in search of respiratory specialists, neurologists, gastroenterologists, and therapists.

Royce needs your prayers and support for his recovery and quality of life. We ask if you can help us with a small donation that will help cover these unexpected medical expenses and loss of income as we have been with him on the hospital. Your contribution will also be used for his ongoing treatments , therapies, hyperbaric chamber, specialists appointments, medications and even transportation.
