Royal is finishing his recovery from open-heart surgery to repair several congenital defects.

The greatest part of his recovery is his attitude toward the ordeal -- being strong and optimistic without bitterness.

He shows his faith in many ways and inspires us all with his courage.

The expenses from this time include hospital fees, hotel, parking, and food and although his family is blessed with insurance, it only covers so much.
