Our grandson, Royal King Thomas Fortune, was born on January 16, 2026, and passed away just a month later on February 18, 2026. Though his time with us was heartbreakingly short, Royal was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all of us. His parents, Thomas Fortune and Tyasia Jones, are devastated by his loss. Royal’s brother, Amari, who has epilepsy and is often in and out of the hospital, and his little sister, Tyonna, who loved giving him hugs and kisses, are also grieving in their own ways.

This tragedy has left our family struggling to cover the costs of Royal’s funeral and other urgent expenses. With Amari’s ongoing medical needs and the emotional toll this loss has taken on all of us, we are reaching out for help.
