Hello.

We are reaching out and asking for help with our upcoming medical journey. We have started the process for me to get on the liver transplant list. I have what is called NASH. It is a non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver and liver disease. We are being treated through KU Medical Center with doctors that do the liver transplant. It is 4 hours from our home, so there are travel expenses, and if we have several tests or meetings, there is the expense of lodging and meals. We are thankful for insurance to cover most of the medical expenses. Our biggest thing is income. When Royal takes off work, he does not get paid because he is a contract electrician. I am not able to work. So, his income is our only income. We are asking for assistance to help cover expenses and our portion of the medical bills. His income just barely covers our monthly budget and bills.
