Support First Royal Ambassadors Bilingual Academy's Growth

Hi my name in Nchinda Valentine Fuanghene, an educator with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland, and we are fundraising for First Royal Ambassadors Bilingual Academy, an elementary school in Bonabari, Douala, Cameroon. The school was founded to:

1) Provide education for Internally Displaced Children from the warring Regions of Cameroon. These are children whose parents escaped from the insecurity in the Northwest and Southwest Regions from Cameroon. Arriving in Douala, they have nothing to live on, no shelter, let alone being able to send their children to school.

2) Provide an opportunity for each member of the school community to know Christ personally.

3) Provide education that is affordable to all parents.

4) Create a nurturing environment that will motivate pupils to be lifelong leaders.

5) Connect pupils with the international network to disseminate knowledge and to gain knowledge from around the world.

6) Provide employment to well-trained teachers to improve the quality of their lives

7) As an educator myself to give back to the community from which I come.

Started during the 2023/2024 academic year, the school had 84 students, 8 staff members. During the Government Common Entrance (GCE) Exam, the school scored 100%. We need these funds to construct better classrooms for the students, provide educational material such as books, backpacks, pencils, chalk, and electronic devices to foster their learning. With the above Common Entrance and First School Leaving certificate results, the school is promising and will do great things for the children if they have your support. Considering that the money contributed by parent as minimal fees cannot sustain the school and that for the whole of last year the teachers were paid out of personal pocket, your support will really go a long way to improve not only the education these children but to improve their lives and guarantee a future for them.
