Support Roxie's Battle Against Lymphoma

My name is Joseph Avila.

I’m creating this GoFundMe for my babygirl Roxie who was just diagnosed with lymphoma of the spleen yesterday. She turned 11 years old on the 1st of April and I know that that’s old for a Rottweiler but she still has so much life in her. I don’t know what I’m going to do without her.

I haven’t gotten much word from the vets on what the next steps are yet, but I never thought this day would come when I rescued her 8 years ago. I’ve never been one to ask people for anything from family, friends, or anyone. But Roxie has been a part of a lot of people’s lives, not only mine and my family's.

I have the goal at $2,000 right now. Maybe that’s too much or maybe that’s too little; I don’t know. I’ve never been through this before. Roxie is the first dog I’ve ever had that belonged to me.

Estoy creando este GoFundMe para mi niña Roxie, a la que le acaban de diagnosticar linfoma del bazo ayer. Ella cumplió 11 años el 1 de abril y sé que eso es viejo para un Rottweiler, pero no sé qué voy a hacer sin ella.

Todavía no he recibido muchas noticias de los veterinarios sobre cuáles son los próximos pasos, pero nunca pensé que llegaría este día cuando la rescaté hace 8 años. Nunca he sido de los que piden a la gente nada de la familia, amigos o nadie. Pero Roxie ha sido parte de la vida de muchas personas, no solo de la mía y la de mi familia.

Tengo el objetivo de 2.000 dólares ahora mismo. Tal vez eso sea demasiado o tal vez sea muy poco; no lo sé. Nunca he pasado por esto antes. Roxie es el primer perra que he tenido que me perteneció.
