Our dear friend Roxanne was in a terrible accident while skiing with her family on 3/1/26. She has had two surgeries, and after a lengthy hospital stay and inpatient rehab, she is now home but has a long recovery road ahead of her.

Aside from the physical toll her injuries have caused, there is a financial toll as well. Roxanne was working at TSV this winter and helping her husband Omar run sound for most of the live music in the Taos area. Of course, her income ended when her injury occurred, and she will not be able to assist Omar for many months, and he has had to hire additional help.

Roxanne and I have known each other for over 30 years. She is a beloved member of our community, and her injuries and need for help are deeply felt by friends, family, coworkers, and the vibrant music scene in Taos. The loss of income and hefty medical bills have put Roxanne and Omar at a financial disadvantage during this challenging time.
