My name is Roxanne Marrs, and I am reaching out to share my current situation and seek assistance. Recently, I was terminated from my position and subsequently forced to move from my residence of almost 3 years. I was given a mere 7 days to remove my trailer and belongings off the property, forcing me to put my trailer in storage, only adding to my financial burden. I believe the circumstances surrounding my termination were unjust and may have been improper under California law.

During my time at the resort, I dedicated myself to weaving a tapestry of connection, growth, success, and enhancing our beloved community. My heart is rooted in loyalty, pure intentions, and a strong work ethic. I pride myself on my honesty and for genuinely caring for this place and everyone that comes through those gates. Unfortunately, my dismissal stemmed from false accusations by a member I was caring for. Those who know me well understand that I would never engage in such behavior, as integrity and kindness are at the core of my character. Regrettably, I was not given the opportunity to defend myself against these unfounded claims, which has left me deeply saddened.

Currently, I am residing in a friend's shed, lacking basic amenities such as power, water, and heat. My two small dogs are dependent on me, which has hindered my ability to seek employment. It breaks my heart to consider finding new homes for them, but I feel I am left with no choice at the moment. Presently, I am facing financial hardship, struggling to meet essential living expenses, which has caused significant stress and anxiety.

I am reaching out to seek assistance with basic living expenses. This is a challenging step for me, as I have always prided myself on my independence. However, I find myself in a position where I must humbly ask for help. Any support you can provide would be immensely appreciated and would make a significant difference in my life during this difficult time.

Update: It’s been brought to my attention that I left out the breakdown as to how or why I chose the Goal amount of $5500, so I thought I’d explain.

Storage for Mobile Home / Trailer

That’s not including rent once I find an actual home/Lot for trailer not to mention the deposits or what not that are required when renting a place. I’m literally at rock bottom and just need some assistance getting out of this rut. That’s all.
