Support for Roxanna Anaya and family

Erika is asking for support for Roxanna Anaya and her family during an incredibly difficult time. Roxanna is Erika’s childhood friend, comadre, daughter’s godmother, and god sister, and someone who has always shown up for others with love and generosity.

One beautiful example of that is Roxanna’s small hobby, Mikayla’s Sweet Creations, where she makes mini pancakes and desserts and sells them to help with fundraisers and people in need. That caring spirit is who Roxanna is.

A few weeks ago, Roxanna underwent surgery to remove a tumor at the opening of her stomach. At first, things seemed to be moving in the right direction, but after her initial recovery, Roxanna developed a serious infection and doctors discovered that her stomach was leaking. She had to go through emergency surgery, and now she is facing a long and painful recovery with many challenges still ahead.

As Roxanna focuses on healing, the financial pressure on her family continues to grow. Roxanna is unable to work, and her husband is also unable to work right now as they navigate her recovery and ongoing medical needs together.

Donations will help with essential living expenses and ongoing medical care while their household is without income.
