Support for our brother after emergency surgery.

Hi everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our brother, Ross Somers, who recently went through an unexpected and necessary surgery. He developed an infection in the bone of his foot and needed to have the big toe amputated. While the procedure was critical for his health, it came at an overwhelming cost.

At the time of surgery, he did not have medical insurance because he and his wife lost insurance due to a corporate takeover of her company. The medical bills have quickly added up. Between the hospital stay, surgery, medicals, and follow-up care, the financial burden has become more than our family can manage alone.

Ross is a contractor/painter by trade, so this will affect his livelihood.

Right now, our focus is on helping him heal and recover, but the stress of mounting medical expenses has made this already difficult time even harder. All funds raised will go directly toward:

* hospital and surgical bills

* doctor visits and follow-up care

* medications and medical supplies

* ongoing recovery expenses
