Rosina Schmucker is a beloved member of our church family, and right now she’s facing some significant health challenges. She has been diagnosed with a rare eye disease called neurotrophic keratitis, which sometimes follows a shingles infection. This condition can cause blindness if left untreated. The corneal nerves in her eye are dead, and the cornea is badly damaged, requiring treatment to regenerate the nerves. On top of this, Rosina will be having cochlear implant surgery in less than three weeks. As she told her doctor, she needs her eyes to compensate for her ears, making this treatment all the more urgent and important.

With these medical challenges come many expenses—medical bills, travel for treatment, and time off work. We want to come together as a community to help ease Rosina’s financial burden so she can focus on healing and recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in her journey.
