It’s Carly (and Rosie) here. I’m writing with some tough news—Rosie has a torn ACL and needs TPLO surgery to get back to the happy, active pup she’s always been. Unfortunately, insurance won’t cover the surgery because of some preexisting knee issues, and the cost is a lot more than I expected.

If you know Rosie, you know how special she is. I adopted her when she was about three, and she’s been by my side through everything since. She lives for playing with her dog friends, going on long walks, and camping in the mountains. It’s been heartbreaking to see her hurting and unable to do the things she loves.

To be honest, asking for help like this doesn’t come naturally to me—I really struggled with whether or not to share. But some kind and persistent friends reminded me that I don’t have to carry this on my own. They encouraged me to create this GoFundMe, knowing how many people love Rosie and might want to help her heal.
