Hey Hot Room Family,
We are coming together to support the Koppmann family as they navigate their baby Rosie’s Spina Bifida journey.
On June 9th, 2025, shortly after birth, the Koppmanns learned that Rosie had been born with lipomyelomeningocele, a severe form of Spina Bifida and a type of closed neural tube defect that affects approximately 3 babies out of every 100,000 births. While every child’s journey is unique, the Koppmann family has now entered a season of medical treatments, visits with multiple specialists, and the need for specialized equipment to support Rosie’s health and future.
We are reaching out to our Hot Room community to ask for your support as they navigate this new chapter. Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Medical bills and hospital stays not covered by insurance
- Specialist visits (neurology, orthopedics, urology, physiology)
- Therapies — physical therapy, occupational therapy, and more
- Adaptive equipment to help Rosie explore, move, and grow
- Home modifications, if needed, to ensure a safe environment
- Travel costs for specialty clinics and future planning for Rosie’s ongoing needs
Even the smallest contributions can make a meaningful impact in giving Rosie the best possible chance to live a joyful, independent life full of possibilities. Your love and support will be the greatest source of strength for the Koppmann family.
