Our dog of half a decade, Rosie, recently underwent a medical emergency. She has diabetes for about two years, though we've been able to manage it well. Last Thursday, however, she suddenly began acting very lethargic, wouldn't eat, and started vomiting. We quickly rushed her to an emergency vet on October 31st, and discovered that she had critically low blood sugar, blood pressure, and electrolytes.

We put her into special care, and thank God the doctors were able to stabilize her condition for the time being, though she still requires constant attention. However, we had to take out an emergency loan for the medical bills, roughly $8,000 USD. Although we are praying and hoping for good news, we are burdened by the difficult financial situation the emergency has put us in.
