Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and asking for help for my sweet foster dog, Rosie. She was spayed this morning at the North Campus shelter and seemed off when I brought her home—lethargic, whining, and not moving much.

A few hours later, she suddenly began gushing blood from her incision. It was traumatic and terrifying. I rushed her to the Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas in Grapevine. The photo doesn’t show all the blood she lost—it was everywhere. She’s stable now, but they’re recommending emergency surgery and care that could cost anywhere from $4,500 to $6000

I usually never ask for anything, but Rosie has fought so hard to come this far. She’s only 2 years old and finally started to enjoy life in a safe, loving home. She doesn’t deserve this setback.
