Support Rosetta Smoots' Heart Transplant Journey

Hello my name is Rosetta Smoots.

I know it's probably unorthodox but, I would like to start my own Go Fund Me account. The needs are pertaining to my need for heart transplant.

I am now, and willl later, need additional assistance with monetary needs. My daughter Shayla, is managing The household needs but, we need additional assistance. Shayla will probably have to take LOA which may not be covered at her job (we are currently looking into that).

Monetarily we need assistance with the following:

Managing medications;

Paying for Household bills;

Covering management of the car (insurance and gas) to make sure I can get to and from follow up appointments that will happen Post transplant;

Purchasing food (especially for the specific cardiac diet, which would be a significantly change that requires purchasing more heart friendly food products)

Purchasing products to sanitize the house post transplant, to make sure I stay safe and decrease the possibilities of infections

Possible need for use Lyfts to and from appointments, should Shayla have to return to work or I am unable to find a ride.

Please understand that these needs will be fluid. I would greatly appreciate any assistance that is available. I am currently on Minnesota Medicaid this will cover a lot of things but I get very little from this entity (less than $500 a month).
