Support Rose's Husband's Stroke Recovery

Hi, my name is Rose. My husband had a stroke on 4/18/2025. He has been home since 4/28 and needs full-time assistance. I had to go back to work to pay bills. Right now, I'm paying out-of-pocket for care and other expenses on top of all my bills, which I cannot afford. When they say the struggle is real, they are not lying.

I am trying to get my daughter here by bus from New Hampshire to help ease some of the burden. I have applied for Medicaid for him but am still in the waiting process. Any help would be appreciated. I normally would figure it out, but I have been making calls to get help with no luck. I'm still looking at anywhere from $300 to $600 a week for out-of-pocket care, which would definitely put us on the streets. Thank you in advance and God bless you.
