Support for Rose Jochim’s Cancer Journey Hi, my name is Tara, and I'm raising support for my aunt, Rose Jochim, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on May 28th. Just yesterday, Rose underwent surgery in hopes of removing the cancer. Sadly, the procedure couldn’t be completed, as the cancer is intertwined with several major organs, making it too risky to operate. She is currently in the hospital, awaiting a consultation with an oncologist to determine her next steps—whether she can begin chemotherapy or possibly receive care at the Mayo Clinic. Despite the news, Rose remains strong and in good spirits. She’s an incredible woman with a heart of gold and a personality that lights up any room. For 27 years, she has dedicated herself to working at Rolling Hills Restaurant, first as a cook and now as the baker.
