Support Rosemarie's Journey to Good Health

Hi, my name is Stacey the daughter and eldest of Rosemarie together with my brother Daryl are reaching out to you in support of our mum Rose, by fundraising to assist her through her current journey to good health.

Rose was initially diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2002 and had been in remission for 22 years. Unfortunately, Rose was given the bad news in December 2023 not long before Christmas that her cancer had returned, and this time a lot more aggressive. Our family was in shock, as this news comes 3 weeks after her very own sister also being diagnosed with Breast Cancer.

Rose underwent a single mastectomy in early January 2024, due to her previous treatment of Breast Cancer 22 years ago - this surgery was considered of high risk. The surgery went well, recovery a little tough and still working through it.

Upon attending Rose's Oncology appointment, she was told more bad news. Unfortunately, they found cancer in her lung. A rare form of cancer unrelated to the cancer in the breast. Her oncologist recommended she tackle the breast cancer treatment before we tackle the lung cancer.

Rose has begun her first treatment of Chemo, whereby she still has more to come and a long journey ahead of her.

Daryl (Her son) is willing to shave his hair and beard to support our mother during this difficult time and journey she is on.

All proceeds will be divided equally between the Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), The Lung Foundation and a little for herself to assist with some medical expenses that have occurred and are still ongoing.
