Support Rose Turner's Family in Overcoming Hardships

Including pictures of my beautiful family and our vehicle that had blew on us in the winter, which is now gone

My name is Rose Turner, and I am a dedicated wife and mom of 2 beautiful little girls. After living in the same apartment for 5 long years in Danville, KY, our landlord decided to sell the building without warning us whatsoever, and we were unlawfully and wrongfully evicted in October 2024 by Sherri Edwards.

Considering our luck, our vehicle also blew its head gasket once the freezing winter temps started to hit. My family and I have been fighting so hard to get through this hurdle in our life, after already facing so many. I have health issues mentally and, most importantly, physically, that make it practically impossible for me to work consistently. I am in the extremely hard process of trying to fight for an SSI or SSDI check to make up for the work I'm unable to do and also get the desperate help I need from doctors/neurologists. I just had to leave a job after only 2 weeks because of it, and it's so disappointing Especially since my dream is to cook!

My family and I have been accepted through a housing authority, but we are on a waiting list, and it is still going to be a long while..

I am doing this for the very first time, after a long thought process of considering whether this would be a good idea or not. But, I keep getting told that it does not hurt to ask for help, and I'm trying to do it without feeling embarrassed or awful for it. Especially since it comes to my family and I making it through these hard times successfully.

I am trying to raise money to buy a used vehicle for my family and I. It's not easy to save money when you have so little, so much to take care of, having to use that little money to give people gas money to take you where you need to go, a family to take care of, and it's all in your husband's hands with just a small monthly check himself. We have nothing, and everything we've had, life has ripped from us in the midst of our hurdles. We have always tried to do everything right, but yet it always comes crashing down on us.

I am doing this in hopes of one day making enough to finally have a vehicle for our family again and to succeed more in doing what we haven't been able to without one!! If you stay out in the sticks here in KY, then I'm sure you can understand how difficult it can be to try making it to town every day with nothing, especially when you have to in order to achieve anything.

I see people making these GoFundMe pages for ALL kinds of things, so I'm really hoping that this can be successful in a desperate time of need.
