Dear Friends of Rose Mallare,

Kira Lamb & Brooke Miyasaki are raising funds to support Rose as she undergoes treatment for thyroid cancer. She's currently recovering from a successful surgery that removed her thyroid and cancerous lymph nodes in her neck. In a few months, she will begin radiation treatment.

At this time of year, Rose is always busy teaching private music lessons and booking gigs as a cellist for weddings, events, and theme parks. Unfortunately, she's unable to work during recovery, and her bills are starting to become overwhelming. We hope that, as a community that absolutely adores Rose, we can free her from some of this financial burden so that she can focus on healing.

If you know Rose, you know her generous spirit. And you also know that she never asks for or expects support. You kinda have to force it on her. So, as her besties, we're stepping in!

Oh, and she's been distracting herself from the pain with brief moments of playing cello and making art.
