Support Rose MacLeod's Health Journey

Hi there, my name is Rose MacLeod. I have been a part of the community since I started working at Broad Branch market in 20008-2017. I have been baby-sitting,petsitting, volunteering in the neighborhood since. I’m enrolled in grad school at Trinity Washington University for O.T., but unfortunately just have been having trouble paying for my health insurance after it went up tremendously this past Jan.

I have had a lot of health diagnoses in the past two years, the major one being endometriosis. I applied for private insurance and was able to get it, but unfortunately, with the new administration and no longer getting a tax credit, I cannot afford $700 a month for my CareFirst insurance. I am $3,000in debt for it, and this month it will go up to $3700.

I have surgery coming up on March 26 for endometriosis and a Leep procedure.

I'm hoping that my community will show support and donate, so I can keep doing what I love and support my community by babysitting, helping the elderly, catsitting, and just really enjoying life because I love giving back to the area and it makes me so happy feeling good! I would appreciate anyone's support right now to help me get to feeling better and help pay my insurance debt. Thank you so much!
