Support Rose & Jeremy Through Crisis
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Danielle. My good and dear friends have come across very difficult times. Rose and Jeremy Brick are a loving couple and parents of a teen daughter and a 10-year-old son. Update
Per Rose - The surgery took almost 12 hrs on Saturday. It was the longest 12 hrs of my life. But the doctor was able to remove all of the bone shards and remove the fractured vertebrae. Rods and pins were put in place, and then he was all set for recovery. The weekend was tough as he was on a pain pump and hooked up to a bunch of monitors and lines, and could barely move. As of Monday evening, Jeremy is up walking slowly, but walking nonetheless. He has been fitted for a back brace. The pain pump, back drain, and 2 of the 3 IVs have been removed. He's sleeping a lot but managing pain with oral medication. He is able to sit up for a couple of hours at a time and then needs to rest again. He's been coached on how to manage everyday life for the next 6 to 8 weeks as he heals his back. This is going to be a long process, friends. I will need to be home to help take care of him, and that is going to cut into our bills quite a bit. We will be taking advantage of low income services but still need help with what they don't cover. Any help is appreciated, and if you've already donated, thank you so very much. We couldn't be more blessed than we are with our friends and family. Thank you.
Jeremy was recently in a very traumatic car accident that caused damage to his spine. Jeremy has a spinal fracture at L2 and is currently in Scott's Bluff Hospital waiting for surgery, with the support of his loving wife. I am asking for help to raise money to help them pay medical bills and monthly expenses such as utilities, rent, gas, and food.
Thank you so much for your prayers and support as we help Rose, Jeremy , Annie, and DJ through this very difficult time.
God bless you all!
