For all Rose Dobbs, family and friends, & those she doesn't know on Social Media:

Your thoughts & prayers have meant everything to Rose & brought her through some very deep water. There have been far too many complications to name. Rose was supposed to have a triple by pass, but her surgeon felt she would be under far too long & so a double bypass was performed. One of those two failed, & she was put in a drug induced coma & on life support. After four days, the surgeons attempted to do a second surgery to put stints in place and that also failed because her arteries were too small to insert them. Proceeding that, her doctors gradually took her off of life support and told us there was nothing more they could do. Rose now has 10% less blood flow through her heart and remains in a weakened condition in addition to being on a heart monitor.

She was advised to be more of tortoise than a hare. God has been so faithful to sustain her through this... The bill just for Rose's hospital stay of three weeks arrived a few days ago, & the total was $84,681.00. Rose had several surgeons & countless others who have not yet billed her. She is now waiting for those to arrive. Rose is not sure of Care Flight, the helicopter service that flew her from Braton Hospital ER in So. Lake Tahoe to Carson-Tahoe Hospital in Carson City, NV. A helicopter ride on Rose & Chuck's 54th Anniversary was a much different way to celebrate than they had planned for... Rose has not one complaint about anything, including the cost with more bills to come. She received the very best care EVER from her excellent team of surgeons, dedicated & caring nursing staff, PT's, OT's including the CNA's & those who cleaned her room daily. It would be a blessing to the Dobbs Family if any one of you could offer any financial help with the many unforseen challenges with bills and recovery still ahead. She is well aware that everything is tight for so many. Only if it is possible for you to give any amount big or small it would be immensely appreciated.
