Support Rose and Me in Our Time of Need

Looking to relocate back to Denver area. After losing my Stepsister Amber, to a brutal murder. I find myself questioning things. I am currently taking Care of my mother, Rose Petersen, and I feel that the weight of everything is starting to collapse on me. I'm moving back to be around the support group that knows me well and will take the time to help me through it all. They are my friends, my family and my angels. They give me the strength to move the weight I feel. But from Miles away it is just words. I'm not asking for a lot I just need to secure a place for my mother to reside while I get back to myself.

Hi everyone,

This is Miriam, David's Long-Term friend. As many of you know he moved out to Illinois after they loss of his older sister Deanna to cancer 1.5 years ago to take care of his mom as the grieved this loss and she also lost her housing. He has since been supporting his mother by himself.

Last month, a brutal murder changed his life again. His stepsister Amber Goodwin, one of his major pillars of love and support in his life was killed by her husband in an act of domestic violence.

Needing as much support as possible to navigate these traumatic events, he has chosen to relocate his mother and himself back to Denver where he has a large friend family ready to help him through theses trying times.

As he had to miss work and will take a bit of time getting established here. He needs our financial assistance as well as emotional support. Money raised here will go to help him with his mother and a down payment towards an apartment for him and his mother, most importantly, his mother, as well as help him with the cost of groceries /bills until his first few paychecks are received. Update: We are on our way but still $900 short of making the first months rent. We were able to put the security deposit down. And with my last check I was able to rent the U-Haul and use the remainder for the gas out. Just need this last push if possible. We truly appreciate everyone to who has assisted in this transition.
