Support Rosa's Journey to Recovery and Hope

My name is Rosa Parada. I’m 32 years old. I have a 3year old daughter and a 35 weeks newborn boy. I had an emergency c-section on 09/18/2924 due to a tumor found on my upper back right on my spinal bone. This mass was compressing my spinal bone and my chest muscles making my belly and legs and feet feeling tingling and completely numbed.

During my pregnancy, my health has become worse. When I was 26 weeks pregnant, I was hospitalized due to gallstones found on my stomach. Gallstones were removed and I felt great again. Doctors ordered MRI on my stomach and found that lymph nodes on ny stomach were inflamed and they did a biopsy. Results came back negative no signs of lymphoma or anything else. My life went back to normal. I started working again until I was 33 weeks I felt my belly and legs starting to fell numbed all day and it kept getting worse until 09/19 that I couldn’t get up of my bed. My legs were completely numbed and I couldn’t even stand on my own. I rushed to hospital and did MRI on my chest and neck and that’s when tumor was found right on chest. Also, lymph nodes on chest, axilar and throat were enlarged. I was immediately admitted into the hospital and had to deliver my baby as soon as possible. On 09/18 I had c section and left axilar biopsy taken for further evaluation. Results from axilar came back, and I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma Cancer. On 09/20 I had a spinal surgery done to remove the tumor. I’m currently in Intensive recovery unit.

I will start my chemotherapy treatment next week. I have 6 months of chemotherapy ahead of me. These upcoming months will be challenging for me. All I think is about my 3 year old and my newborn. They are my fuel.

Ive always considered myself an independent, a hard working and a self sufficient person. I like to work and provide for my family. But now I need to put my armor down and humble myself and ask for help. I am asking each and every one of you who is willingly to help me with donations to help with medical bills, etc. During this difficult times. I would greatly appreciate any help.
