Hi there, my name is Rosa Bautista. On April 14, 2025, our 13-year anniversary, we were beaten by four teenage kids on our private road and property, and they arrested my husband. I'm being denied the chance to press charges on these kids that beat me also. I would not let him touch these kids because they were kids, and I got beat also. So, I paid the $1500 bond, and as soon as I did, they put a hold on him, and now he's in ICE custody and at maximum security.
My husband, in the twenty-five years that he has been here, has never been in trouble or had an order for deportation. I need an immigration attorney that is here in Tampa that will help get him a bond and also fix what they have wrong. They have my husband as a Mexican, and this is incorrect. He is from Honduras, and they are refusing to change his nationality and say that if he does get deported, he'd go to Mexico where he knows no one and has no way to get to Honduras.
The attorney is needing $5000 to get him a bond hearing and be able to show all of our proof and that I'm disabled and I rely on my husband for everything. If you find it in your heart to help my family bring my husband home, I would be forever grateful, and if not, I will take all the prayers we can get. I need to get this as soon as possible so that they can start the process.
