These last 2 1/2 months have been extremely overwhelming and scary. We found a tumor in Rosa's back, stemming from the spine. Our beautiful, selfless, kind daughter will be having two invasive surgeries a month apart from each other. We're asking for everyone and anyone to pray, send positive thoughts, or what you prefer. That's the main reason for sharing.

We don't have many answers right now but surgery dates. Unfortunately, we have to ask for financial help. I am short an hour or two to qualify for paid leave so I will be taking about two months off unpaid from both of my jobs. We will also be needing to find temporary housing (unless someone has or knows of a house we can rent long term) due to mobility after surgery. With regular bills, medical, physical therapy, temporary housing/hotels, and traveling to the hospital, we need a ton of support.

Rosa is being extremely strong, brave, positive, and mature about all of it. She still needs all the loving support anyone is willing to give. She is going to be missing half her 8th grade year. She wanted to play sports and be in student council again this year. She is having to miss half the season on her new soccer team where she is growing so much. She loves and will miss playing.

Any and all support is welcome. This difficult time in our lives is so overwhelming. On the way home from a doctor's appointment, Rosa told Ryker she is glad this is happening to her and not him. Rosa is seriously so special and it's killing us this is happening.
