Support Rosalva Palacios' Stroke Recovery
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Elina Camacho, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my beloved mother, Rosalva Palacios.
She is currently fighting for her life in Lima, Perú, at the TEZZA clinic, after suffering a stroke during surgery. Just a few years ago, doctors discovered three aneurysms in her brain. In 2021, she bravely underwent surgery to treat two of them. At the time, the third was too small to operate on safely.
That third aneurysm worsened and required urgent surgical intervention. Unfortunately, on April 12th, 2025 during the procedure, my mom suffered a brain ischemia — a type of stroke caused by reduced blood flow to the brain, leading to the death of brain tissue. It’s devastating to see someone so full of life now unable to walk or speak. She’s only 49 years old.
Today, she is out of a coma and out of the ICU. We are waiting, praying, and hoping she will begin to respond to treatments. Recovery will be long and require intensive therapy, and we want to give her every chance possible.
As her daughter, it’s unbearable to be far away — especially as I’m currently pregnant. I wish I could hold her hand, be by her side, and tell her everything will be okay. Instead, I’m doing what I can from afar: asking for your help.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign. Every little bit counts, all money collected so far will be for her daily therapy My family and I are grateful for your support from the bottom of our hearts.
With love,
Elina.
