Rosalinda Fortuna’s Fight Against Cancer 

Rosalina is a beautiful loving mother, grandmother, aunt and a blessing to so many.   

Rosalinda was recently diagnosed with terminal stage 4 ovarian/primary peritoneal carcinoma cancer with a 7 month prognosis with treatment. As you can imagine, the diagnosis has been incredibly challenging for her in every way, mentally, emotionally and physically.  

She had her first chemo treatment and experienced severe side effects nausea, vomiting, severe leg and hand neuropathy, blood clots and out of control sugar levels that led to hospitalization.    

Rosalinda needs Naturopathic medicine that uses natural and holistic therapies to support the body's natural healing abilities.

These treatments help with the severe chemo side effects so she can continue to receive and complete critical chemo treatments. However, this treatment is very costly and not covered by insurance. 

Financial burden should not be an added to anyone in this condition, while trying to fight for treatment and recovery.  

Your donation will help provide Rosalinda with the critical naturopathic treatment she needs so she can complete chemo treatments to give her a fighting chance.  The natural holistic approach has made significant strides with cancer patients.  We continue to pray and believe God for a miracle. 

It is the family’s hope and desire that we can all come together to support Rosalinda to open the pathway to receive much needed holistic treatment that she would not be able to otherwise receive, and so all her energy and focus can be fully directed towards her fight for recovery. 

This diagnosis comes 3 years since losing her eldest son Junior, Stockton Fire Captain Max Fortuna, while on duty. The grief of losing her son has been unimaginable, and now the blow of a terminal cancer diagnosis is unbearable. Rosalinda is a strong woman of faith. Her faith and determination is such an inspiration.
