Support Rosalind Hebert's Battle with Lymphoma

In January of 2016, my mother, Rosalind Hebert, was diagnosed with Stage 3 Follicular Lymphoma. At the time, her doctor determined that no treatment was needed. Routine testing was done over the years with no significant change. In February 2024, my mom noticed a large mass under her right arm. After having the mass biopsied, it was confirmed that the cancer has turned into a large B-cell lymphoma. This mass was the size of a softball. Her doctor required her to begin chemo immediately and ordered her to undergo six rounds of chemo every 21 days. After round three, she will be re-evaluated to determine the effectiveness of chemo. Assuming all is well, she will undergo the three remaining rounds of chemo.

My mom's original plan was to take a few days off of work to recover after each round but return to work afterwards. Unfortunately, her plans did not come to fruition; the effects of chemo have placed a toll on my mom's body quite more than she expected. Since my dad is a double transplant recipient, medicine and doctor visits are not optional for his survival; therefore, a large portion of their joint income is spent on medical expenses. Now that my mom is unable to work, medical expenses are quickly accumulating.

My mom is a wonderful spouse, mother, grandmother, and friend. She has always offered a helping hand and understood the value of sowing and reaping. She loves to joke around and doesn't mind being the joke. She is the loving, prayer warrior to her family and an assertive, dedicated worker to her co-workers. She has always been a hard worker with energy that I'll never understand an individual can possess. I guess that's the result when you combine stubbornness, passion, and resilience.

Since the new diagnosis, this has been an emotional yet challenging journey for her and the family members and friends closest to her. With prayer and God's healing, I'm confident she'll withstand the storm and continue to be the warrior God has designed her to be. Rather than having to focus on how she will financially cover such medical priorities, I'm asking for donations to assist her during this chapter of her life. Any money donated will go towards current and future medical expenses. Any amount you're willing to contribute is greatly appreciated. If you are not able to contribute money at this time, please lift my mom up in your prayers and pass this along to others.
