My name is Sharnita Marshall-Neal and I'm hoping to raise funds for my dear friend, Rosa Hernandez.

Rosa Hernandez’s mother, Julia Diaz, has always been full of life and personality. Known for her sass and independence, Julia enjoyed her days at her nursing home, where she lived in an unsupervised unit and maintained her sense of freedom.

Unfortunately, earlier this year, around February/March, Julia became seriously ill and was admitted to the hospital. After a two-week stay, she returned to the nursing home much weaker and more fragile. Due to her declining condition, she required ongoing physical therapy and was placed under 24-hour supervision.

Since then, Julia’s health has continued to decline. Her strength has faded significantly, making it difficult for her to move, eat, and care for herself. Recently, Rosa received the heartbreaking call that her mother is now being transitioned into hospice care.

Julia does not have savings or any burial arrangements in place, leaving Rosa to carry this emotional and financial burden on her own during an already devastating time.

I am asking for your support to help Rosa as she navigates her mother’s final days and prepares for the inevitable funeral expenses. Your donation will help ease the financial strain and allow Rosa to focus on being present with her mother during her critical time.
