Support Rosa Carranza's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
I write this with a heavy heart. With permission from my sister, Rosa Carranza, to inform everyone that on Memorial Day while walking back to her car to go home from vacation a car hit her from behind and threw her several feet. She landed into a bush and immediately lost consciousness. The coward driver left the scene immediately leaving her all ALONE. When she awoke she couldn't move. Luckily a young boy and his mother found her and called 911. She was rushed to a hospital and was in and out of consciousness from the pain. She would later wake up to find her hip had been completely fractured. Last week she underwent hip surgery and is home now! Rosa has a long road of recovery ahead of her and will need our help to pay for medical expenses. She has a high deductible that she needs to meet before her health insurance will begin to cover. Today, she needs all of our prayers, well wishes, and to know she is NOT alone!

Cousin Jenny Ardaiolo wrote this message to let Rosa know she is loved. The family is here to support her. Rosa is the 1st born granddaughter of Mamita and Papa Lucas. She is many 1st, our 1st cousin, she had the 1st child in our family, she gave our grandparents their 1st great grandchild, she is a daughter, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a cousin, a niece, and an amazing pioneer who paved the way for many of us to be in the USA. Because of her, many of the siblings went to college and have great careers. Not only does she have my respect, but also my unwavering support. I wouldn't normally feel the need to say all this, but while I was saddened to hear she was hurt I was also angered that someone could do this to her. Let me be clear: it is NEVER ok for someone to commit a crime and practically leave her or anyone else for that matter for dead. PERIOD! The only questions we should be asking are: Rosa, how can we help? What do you need? Please know you are not alone and we are here for you.
Carranza's please take this as a call to action. Please send her prayers and help with whatever you can. Never forget that we are one large family and Mamita and Papa Lucas only wanted us to stay united and to care for each other. If you can help send a few dollars Rosa's way to help pay for her medical expenses it would be a great help, anything goes a long way.
