Hello, my name is Rowan, but you can call me Ro! I am a 19-year-old full-time college student and a part-time employee. I am trans, queer, and I have mental and physical disabilities that affect my entire body!

So to begin, my insurance has recently been canceled, and my body is deteriorating very rapidly (while we do not yet know the exact cause of why). I am what you refer to as an ambulatory wheelchair user—I have the function of my legs; however, using a wheelchair and/or a cane makes mobility so much easier in my day-to-day life as walking and standing are incredibly painful! I also have a dynamic disability, meaning that my symptoms fluctuate from moment to moment—I never know when I am going to flare up or feel ill again, which can make daily responsibilities and functions beyond excruciating and feel near impossible at times.

I am raising money and awareness so I can afford a new (functional) wheelchair, new braces for my joints, and to pay off some of my medical bills from Urgent Care visits as I am living paycheck to paycheck right now trying to sustain myself as much as possible!
