Support Rory's Journey to the 2024 AAA Conference

The American Anthropological Association (AAA) is the world's largest scholarly and professional organization of anthropologists. Every year, they host one of the world's largest conferences where distinguished anthropologists from around the world congregate to advance the field of anthropology, share their work, and network. This year the conference will be held in Tampa, Florida.

Rory has received the opportunity to present her research at this conference. Speaking at a conference of this scale would be a tremendous honor and advancement in her career as only a limited number of undergraduate students get this opportunity.

Because presenters have to pay for their flights and stay for the duration of the conference and because Rory will be deep in ethnographic research for the upcoming semester, she is raising money to help cover the costs for the supplies, flights, and board for the duration of the Tampa conference.
