Hello, friends and acquaintances, this is Rory Kleiber. Some of you I know as neighbors and community members. Others as colleagues. Then, the rest as close friends and family.

This year has taken a toll on my family. In January, we had to say goodbye to our senior dog and it was brutal. In the same week, my company eliminated my position (for reasons that are not my fault, they took the whole position out of the company). I made a pretty good salary and need a job that makes at least as much, but it's been 3 months, and I have had no such luck.

I haven't been landing interviews like I thought I would. I apply hours a day to things in my field and outside. It's unfortunate, but if I don't find something comparable, I'm getting more from Unemployment than I would be getting at a lesser paying job. I do hate that.

I want to get back to work. I hate not working and not being the provider for my family. I'm trying my best everyday to find anything I can.

So, what this has come down to. Debt. I've had two major hospitalization stays during all this while we didn't have the top notch insurance my job used to have. It's been piling up and piling up. I'm desperate at this point and can't let this get in the way of bills or our house.

If you can donate, please do. If not, just share. Please don't be rude. This has been the most shameful, disheartening, and depressive time of my life. I feel useless. We just need to get back on track a bit until I secure work. I dont expect to make the goal, but I figured I would try.
