Support Rory Curran's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
We are reaching out to you to ask for your help for a family in Boonton Township - The Currans. About a week ago, their 19-year-old daughter, Rory, suffered a seizure and was rushed to St. Joseph's in Paterson. Scans revealed she had two blood clots on both the left and right sides of her brain, and that surgery was needed to relieve the pressure. The family is waiting patiently each day for Rory to wake up and recognize them, and they have been going to the hospital every day hoping for that moment.
You likely know one of the Currans. Both Rory and her older sister Rachel went to Rockaway Valley School and Mountain Lakes High School. Rory is a freshman at Montclair State, and Rachel graduated a few days ago from the same university. Both girls are athletes; their sport is volleyball and it runs in the family. Kelley and Bob also play, and you may have seen them at the YMCA prepping the courts.
It is anticipated Rory will be at St. Joseph's for another 1-2 weeks before going to a rehab facility. The family is expecting a slow and steady recovery and they are living day by day hoping for good outcomes. Your donations will help cover medical expenses and other daily expenses they incur as they focus on their family rather than work. We thank you in advance for your consideration.
