Support Room to Read - Jules Amann Tokyo Marathon 2025

Hi Everyone! Thanks for visiting my page.

My name is Jules and on March 2, 2025, I'll be running the Tokyo Marathon on behalf of Room to Read. I started my 6-Star marathon journey back in 2017 and I'm so excited to hit the ground running in Tokyo.

Why did I choose to run with Room to Read?

I am Dyslexic and struggled a lot in school growing up, especially with reading. I was fortunate to have the support of my parents who stuck up for me and got me involved in summer school programs and with a dyslexia tutor. These helped me stay on track in school and allowed me to discover my confidence and independence. I am forever grateful for the support I had.

I deeply appreciate the importance of accessible education and its impact on a person’s life. I’ve seen how continuing to stay curious has impacted so many people’s lives and strongly believe the world is a better place with education.

This is why I'm so honored to be supporting Room to Read and going after a goal to raise $5,163 to support 80 children with literacy education for an entire year!
