A Challenging Time for Oliver "Roo" Conaty
Recently, while undergoing what was expected to be a routine surgery, Roo was diagnosed with Stage 4 rectal cancer with metastases in his liver and lungs. This diagnosis came as a shock, but Roo has already shown amazing hope, strength, and determination to fight through what will be some challenging treatment.
The Conatys are so grateful for the care of the community and wish to thank all of you for the outpouring of kind words and compassion. We are currently in the process of learning more about the options for Roo's medical treatment, and expect that there will be significant expenses associated with getting him the best possible care.
Your overwhelming contributions to the Go Fund Me have provided the family with peace of mind as they explore treatment options with several leading healthcare teams.
