My FIL Ron Mayhew suffered a stoke on October 1st where he was taken to Barnes and underwent a thrombectomy to remove the clot from his brain He spent a few days in the ICU and on the neurology floor and is now at Anderson Rehab getting intensive therapy. He has made much progress but still is unable to fully use his left arm and left leg (of course he is left handed) His speech has greatly improved and his personality is still the same! He is being discharged home this week and his wife Judy is trying to prep their 132 year old home to be accessible to him while he continues his long road to recovery and are wanting to install a stair lift for him so he has access to the lower floor of their home which is not covered by insurance.
