Hello, I’m Ron Carreira, raising money for the last time. One week ago today, my oncologist told me I have 6 months to a year to live if I don’t go back on another crazy chemo regimen. It was confirmed by my urologist yesterday.

I have been battling this dragon for over 5 years now and nothing has worked. So I’m choosing not to do any more treatments and planning to do a celebration of life with my Mrs. while I still feel good.

2 years back, I ran to all four corners of America on the 4 Corners Challenge. All along the trip, I saw a lot of beautiful places and things I wished I had time to see and how great it would be to share these spots with Lillian my loving wife for 31 years as of June 2nd.

Thanks to my 91-year-old mother Ada and a few other great people, this trip will happen. From the caves and caverns here on the East Coast to Diamond Crater, the Grand Canyon, Vegas, and the giant trees in California.
