Hello, my name is Ron Whyte and I'm a socially engaged artist and activist from Philadelphia, PA. I needed to relocate to Berlin after running into problems with people I thought I could trust. The situation stems from a kind of family feud that began before I was born. I plan on writing more about how all of this relates to my Black maternal grandmother and her struggle with these people once I find out more information. The underhanded behavior of these racist "family" members who are hell bent on hiding the past has made it impossible for me to remain in Philadelphia.

My independent research has led me to understand that I have a grandparent from Germany, possibly from Berlin where I'm living now. I plan to connect with like minded artists and activists while I'm here and attempt to unravel this family mystery as much as possible. I need support to maintain myself with food and housing until I make some good connections that can help me get on my feet. Thank you so much for your consideration.
