I am facing a challenging time as I have been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. In order to receive the best possible care, I will be traveling to Mayo Clinic for further evaluation, treatment, and surgery. The process is moving quickly, and I am grateful that Mayo Clinic is able to see me soon. Alongside cancer, I also live with systemic scleroderma, an autoimmune disease that makes any illness more complicated. Having access to Mayo Clinic’s expertise is truly a blessing, and I am hopeful that their care will give me the best chance for a full and hopefully quicker recovery.
The funds raised through this campaign will help cover the costs of travel, lodging, medical bills, and other related expenses. Facing these challenges is overwhelming, and your support will help ease the financial burden so I can focus on healing and getting the care I need.
