Support Ronnie's Recovery from Dog Attack

I finally have a minute to catch my breath and let you know what has happened to our Ronnie. On Tuesday of this week she was outside with their 4 dogs. Her little mini Aussie, 2 Doberman, and their German Shepard. All of a sudden the Shepard attacked her and the the Dobermans joined in. She fought for her life and at the very last minute was able to kick herself free and crawl into their house. A neighbor heard the screams and came over. Applied pressure to her many wounds and called 911. She was rushed to a trauma hospital and was in surgery within the hour. Her right leg injuries include a very bad open wound to the bone. And a very badly torn kneecap. Her left legs achilles tendon was ripped in half by the Shepard who continually kept pulling her back down off the porch steps by her ankles as she tried to escape. Her right arm has major tendon damage. And there are many more bites, rips, tears, and scratches. Not to mentioned chunks taken off of her body. We have been told over 100 sutures. Unbelievably 1 stitch on her face right by her eye. But bruises on her forehead, cheeks and head where they were banging her head against the house. The three big dogs were put down on Wednesday. She had a 2nd surgery yesterday to try and close up the large open wound on the right leg. They are seeing new skin growth and are hoping to avoid plastic surgery with skin graphing. She will need a 3rd surgery in a few weeks to repair the achilles tendon. She will be in a wheelchair for a few months. And once she can put weight on both legs she will be going into rehab. It has been amazing to watch her strength and Isaiah’s love of her. He has not left her side.

We humbly ask for donations to help with medical expenses as well as other costs she will have to cover on her path to recovery and rehabilitation such as purchasing an SUV to travel in her wheelchair, building a ramp to get inside, and a nurse to stay with her daily since she is unable to walk.

Your support will provide financial relief and encouragement during this difficult time. We ask for prayers as they go through this traumatic experience. Your kindness, prayers and generosity mean the world to our family and any donation will be appreciated beyond words. May god bless you abundantly.
