Last year, I faced a series of challenges that turned my life upside down. After a motorcycle accident, I lost my job and ended up spending a short time in jail. When I got out in December, I was determined to get back on my feet. My sister let me rent a room, and I started making progress—putting in job applications, getting my license back, and even managing to get a car. Things were looking up, and I was hopeful for a fresh start.
Unfortunately, life threw me another curveball. While out riding ATVs with a friend, I had a serious accident that left me temporarily disabled. Doctors are saying it could take 9 to 18 months for the best possible recovery, and I have another surgery coming up soon to repair my knee. My right leg was badly injured and required two titanium rods, a rebuilt heel, and a new ankle joint. On top of that, I have a meniscus tear in my knee, I don't even know what that is.Lol but seriously I didn't and apparently leaving it unrepared it's not very great option. and my insurance is giving me a hard time about covering the surgery. It's been a struggle just to get by day to day, and as someone who has always worked hard, it's tough to ask for help.
Right now, I'm hoping to raise enough to cover my rent for March, my car insurance, and my phone bill. These are the basics I need to keep my life stable while I focus on healing. I don't have a source of income at the moment, and it's been difficult to get assistance. If you're able to help in any way—whether it's a donation or simply sharing my story—I would be deeply grateful. Anything helps, and your support means more than I can say. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you can offer.
