We are asking for your help. Macaroni (Roni for short) is our beautiful baby boy who just had his first birthday October 12th. Roni is our little buddy, he follows us everywhere we go, sleeps with us every night on our bed, watches tv with us (His favorite show is Stranger Things) and brings us so much joy in life. We can hardly go to the bathroom in peace anymore since he loves to jump up and sit on our laps! Recently, he started showing signs of a urinary issue, getting us to the point of worry. We took him to the vet, who discovered that there is a massive blockage and he needed to be rushed to the ER immediately. If we didn't take him, it would turn out fatal. He needs multiple procedures still, blood testing, MRI scans, ultrasounds, sample testing, boarding, and too many medications. He unfortunately has kidney damage and a UTI due to the severity of his system being backed up. His case is Chronic, but manageable if treated.

As we all know, pet hospitalization is super expensive. Our whole bill is $4.5k as of right now, and it can increase drastically during his treatment plan if they were to find anything abnormal with his results, or if he needs another day in the ER, etc. Even moving forward, he will most likely need a perineal urethrostomy, which is a surgery to help male cats pass blockages better. We as first time cat parents are asking for help, from anyone who can help support Roni and us in this time of need. Anything helps. Contributing or even spreading our story can help us too if you cannot donate. We are doing everything in our power to help our boy, but the bills are creating a further debt. We are college students who don't have a lot already, but we are trying to do the best with what we got.
