On Sunday April 5th, Ronell Johnson had a heart attack then went into cardiac arrest on Monday. They had to shock him four times to revive his heart. Thankfully he was already in the emergency room since Friday for initial chest pain.

After a successful procedure he is in stable condition. The doctors are still working on his knee which has become swollen with excruciating pain over the past 2 weeks.

This is a particularly tough time for him to miss all of the French Quarter Festival and Jazzfest performances as well numerous other gigs around New Orleans he has booked. Every dollar helps and we are thankful to have such a wonderful community around the world that share their love for Ronell.
